Mapping the Surface is an exploration of the issue of identity as it relates to place. To create this artwork Ima Picó used a mixture of digital imaging and the tangible qualities of painting in the form of graffitis. This work was exhibited in Observatori 05, Valencia, Mitos - Idolos - Híbridos, as part of the event organised by La Sala Naranja. The mural is composed by 24 images of 100cm x 100cm. each. Total dimensions are 600 cm wide by 400 cm high. This work can be adapted to different measures depending on the surface. It is a limited edition of 5.
Mapping the Surface explora la identidad en relación con el lugar. La obra está creada a partir de una mezcla de imagen digital y de texturas extraidas de graffitis. Este trabajo se expuso en Observatori 05 Valencia, Mitos - Idolos - Híbridos, como parte de un evento organizado por La Sala Naranja. El mural completo está compuesto por 24 imágenes de 100cm x 100cm cada una. Las dimensiones totales son 600 cm de ancho por 400 cm de alto. Esta obra se puede adaptar a otras dimensiones, dependiendo de la superficie. Es una edición limitada de 5.
